Metro, Woolworths’ small store format, is a trailblazer for fresh foods in Australia’s convenience market. Launched with its first store in Melbourne in August 2013, Metro now encompasses 20 stores on Australia’s Eastern seaboard in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

The challenge

The main need was to ensure maximum comfort and air quality for customers and operators all year round, saving energy.
The installation had to be easy and quick.

The solution

Heating, cooling and air quality needs are satisfied by a Clivet packaged unit CSNX equipped with heat recovery from the exhaust air and temperature and CO2 probes to adapt the air flow according to the real needs.
The unit integrates all the main components of the plant and needs only electrical and distribution connections to be installed.

The results

The system adopted grants clean air at the right temperature for the best comfort and health of operators and customers all year round.
With its "plug & play" unit Clivet has contributed to a fast and simple installation.
