Returned to the citizens on 6 April 2022, on the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the siege of Sarajevo, the building of the former railway station of Bistrik has been completely renovated and is now an important centre of aggregation for the local population and tourist attraction. 

The ground floor houses a café and restaurant, while the second floor is completely dedicated to the museum exhibition inspired to the famous film "Walter defends Sarajevo", filmed here in 1972.
