Bennet chooses Clivet again
New Clivet Screwline4-i chiller with scroll inverter technology and new ecological refrigerant R1234ze for the Bennet hypermarket in Erba.
Inaugurated in 1997, I Laghi shopping center in Erba is one of the first shopping centers opened by the Bennet group. The center has a total GLA of over 10,000 m2.
For the refurbishment of part of the refrigeration plant, Bennet has chosen to rely on Clivet experience for the supply of the new chiller.
The Bennet group has always been attentive to the concepts of environmental sustainability, energy saving and quality.
For the replacement of the old chiller, the group requested a solution that guaranteed the reduction of environmental impact, energy consumption and consequently management costs.
The solution
The solution fell on a SCREWLine4-i water chiller with R1234ze ecological refrigerant and two refrigerant circuits each equipped with a compact screw compressor with inverter which, adapting the operation to the needs of the system, allows to reach very high seasonal efficiency with SEER up to 5.24.
Thanks to the inverter screw technology, the new chiller made it possible to further reduce the energy consumption of the existing chiller, with a consequent lowering of management costs.
The environmental need was also met as the refrigerant gas used R1243ze has a GWP close to zero.
